Meet the Team

  • Hannah Dreesbach

    COFOUNDER & LEAD WRITER

Hannah learned to write through a varied regimen of exploring the Rockies, attending microbiology classes, people watching, reading, and (of course) writing. She’s logged two and a half years as a web copyist, blogger, and marketer and 10+ as a dedicated creative writer. When she’s not laboring over a script, she’s daydreaming about her next outdoor adventure.

  • McKenzie Johnson

    COFOUNDER & LEAD ARTIST

McKenzie came to digital art after a childhood spent bringing playground games to life for her friends. She has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation, three and a half years of experience as a concept artist and art director, and 10+ years of near-constant doodling under her belt. She now spends most of her days worrying over the exact positioning of Zero’s curls.

Storying a path less traveled…

Best friends McKenzie and Hannah began telling stories together as awkward sixth-graders. Their lunch hours, online chats, and after school shenanigans were filled with magical beasts, feuding titans, derelict spaceships, brooding antiheroes, and (eventually) the seeds for what would become Bloodlore. Unsatisfied with leaving a story untold, they decided to make good on their dreams of building their own indie studio from the ground up.

That story is still unfolding. The name “Boot Track” was a promise between its founding partners to take that first step into unknown territory. And then the next. And the next after that… In a world dominated by large companies producing entertainment for the masses, we’re a studio of indie storytellers and graphic content creators working to foster a culture of collaboration, embrace different genres and mediums, and tell the stories that make our hearts sing.
